Monta Knudson


Monta Knudson has worked in many different capacities to ensure that individuals have the tools to be successful in recovery, which includes: treatment, housing, mentorship, job development, and community support. Monta’s experience has evolved since his entrance into the field as a certified recovery mentor for Bridges to Change in 2008. During this time, he worked with community corrections in Clackamas County to eventually managing Bridges to Change programs in Multnomah County until 2011. In 2011, he accepted a position as a program manager for Volunteers of America Oregon where he managed both the clinical, mentoring and administrative operations for multiple programs in Multnomah County. In May 2015, Monta accepted the position of Executive Director for Bridges to Change. Monta’s passion is to continue to develop Bridges to Change and its existing programs, along with identifying gaps in services and filling those gaps with new and innovative programming that is accessible to those in need.
