Sergio Gutierrez, CADC I, is bilingual, bicultural and has worked as an alcohol and drug counselor for more than 20 years. He has experience conducting individual and group counseling with DUII clients, working with at-risk youth, providing case management, providing referrals to community programs, performing alcohol and drugs assessments and completing discharge summaries. He has been working with individuals with gambling problems since 2007 and has been a member of Oregon’s Multicultural Advisory Committee on Problem Gambling since 2008. He presented as a speaker for the National Council on Problem Gambling Conference in 2011 and at Instituto Latino in 2011. Mr. Gutierrez currently works in rural Western Oregon for Polk County Mental Health.
