Candy Finnigan has worked as an addiction specialist, interventionist, and recovery expert for over 25 years. A nationally acclaimed expert in all aspects of recovery, she co-founded MAP (Musicians Assistance Program or Musicares), facilitated Beverly Hills High School’s “Sober Lunch” program for 11 years, and was a regular on the A&E show Intervention since it began in 2004. Candy earned her Certificate in Alcohol-Drug Counseling skills and Certificate in Alcohol-Drug Abuse Studies from UCLA in 1993, and went on to receive numerous other certifications and trainings in Gorski method, Sex Addiction treatment, and Systemic Family Intervention. She is a Certified Master Addiction Counselor III and a Board Registered Interventionist II. She belongs to the Association of Intervention Specialists. Candy’s book, When Enough is Enough, was published by Penguin Randomhouse in 2008, focusing on how families can help loved ones through the process of intervention.
